Smart Home in Bellevue’s Horizon View Presented by Joseph Brazen, Seth Tagge, and Randi Brazen
Welcome to Alta Vista, perfectly named for its awe-inspiring, panoramic 180-degree views of downtown Bellevue, Seattle, the lakes, and mountains. Masterfully built by GIS Residential Construction, the contemporary design and smart programming set a precedent for new construction. Throughout four floors, each with their own deck, you will find 6,639 square feet of luxurious finishes, state-of-the-art technology and inviting spaces for your enjoyment. If you appreciate clean, sleek living and inspiring spaces, this is your next home.
Constructing this house was no easy task. Sitting off of a steep slope, this home is on top of the Lakemont community that is located in the hills of southeast Bellevue. To access the house, GIS created a driveway by building a bridge connecting the home to the street which truly makes you feel that the home is floating above the land. The foundation was drilled into the hillside below with cement pilings going 75 feet into the ground which holds the structure secure during any movements in the land. Here is a time lapse video that shows how they managed to construct this incredible home on top of the trees.
