Headlining as a major sponsor of the 2016 Night at the Library Auction benefiting Bellevue’s Downtown Libraries, Brazen Sotheby’s International Realty‘s team of brokers turned out for an eventful night showing their support for a staple in our community.
The proceeds from this year’s auction will help to provide adequate funding for programs and educational opportunities to over 10,000 people who use the libraries in Bellevue. These include activities such as foreign language story times, summer reading programs, children’s music concerts at the library and local parks, cooking classes, book discussion groups, citizenship ceremonies, book giveaways and more!
What is Bellevue Friends of the Library? The Bellevue Friends of the Library (BFOL) are interested citizens who organize to volunteer their time and efforts on behalf of the Bellevue Library, arranging programs and activities to the local community. Money raised by BFOL provides direct financial aid for enrichment of library services. Since 1957, BFOL has promoted literacy and enhanced the goals of Bellevue libraries. In recent years their focus has extended from the Bellevue Library to include the Lake Hills Library and the Library Connection at Crossroads.
